Hollandaise Creamery is a DC-based urban creamery bringing playful innovation to artisan dairy. We believe high-quality cheese, ice cream, and foodstuffs should be fun, approachable, and a little whimsical.
We're launching with handcrafted cheese foodstuffs, small-batch ice cream, and a wide array of cheeses — aged with patience, crafted with intention. Our full creamery vision takes time, and we're okay with that. Good things grow slow.
I'm Keirstyn, a recent graduate of Purdue University and a DC area native. I started Hollandaise Creamery because I wanted to see more joy and innovation in artisan food spaces — more creativity, more accessibility, and more "why not?"
As a Black cheesemaker in the artisan dairy world, I'm building something that reflects who I'm always striving to be: thoughtful, creative, and unapologetically whimsical. When I'm not in the kitchen testing recipes or prepping for markets, you'll find me @s.ugarcereal. Hollandaise is my love letter to the DC food community, and I'm so glad you're here for the journey!
